April 14, 2018 - Dillard Lands Runner-up Finish at Moulton; Houston Follows USMTS
Both Philip and Cade were back in action this past weekend. Philip with the USMTS and Cade in his Late Model.

Cade made the trip to the Moulton Speedway in Moulton, Alabama for a $5,000 Super Late Model event. After qualifying, Cade sat on the inside of the second row for the main event and quickly raced by front row starter Billy Moyer into second and ran in the runner up spot until the checkered flag flew.

Philip made the trip to the Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Arizona and raced to a second place finish in the opening heat race on Friday night, putting him 7th on the starting grid for the 35-lap, $3,000 to win main. Philip raced his way into fifth place early and ran there for the majority of the event until a j-bar issue forced him to slip back to an 11th place finish. Saturday night, Philip ran to a third place finish in his heat and then started 12th and came home with a 13th place finish in the night's finale.

March 31, 2018 - Dillard Tops COMP Cams Field at Timberline Speedway
Cade jumped back into his S&S Fishing & Rental Late Model this past weekend for a pair of Comp Camp Super Dirt Series events in Texas. Friday night, Cade competed at the Timberline Speedway in Corley, TX and after running second from his third starting spot in the heat race, he started 8th and raced his way forward, taking the lead from Texas driver Tyler Erb on lap 15 and raced away to his second Late Model victory of the season and first with the Comp Cams Series. Saturday night, the team made their way to the LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore, TX for the second night of the Comp Cams doubleheader weekend. Cade started outside of the front row in his heat and spun during the event, ending up fifth when the checkered flew. In the feature, after starting 14th, he rallied to come home with a solid 10th place finish to wrap up the weekend.

The team will head to the Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, Arkansas for the Bad Boy 98 this weekend before heading out west to get back on tour with the United States Modified Touring Series at the Canyon Speedway in Peoria, AZ on April 13th and 14th.

March 17, 2018 - Cade Dillard Attends King of America VIII at Humboldt
Cade got back to action this past weekend at the Humboldt Speedway for King of America VIII presented by Summit Racing Equipment. Thursday night, the team competed in a $3,000 tow in USMTS Hunt race in a Chad Wheeler-owned MB Custom after they suffered engine troubles in their primary car in practice on Wednesday night. It didn't take Cade long to get up to speed in his borrowed car as he raced from 10th to 5th in his qualifying heat race, then ran 3rd in the b-main, after starting 4th and charged from his 24th starting spot in the feature event up to an 11th place finish, earning the Eibach Spring Forward Award for passing the most cars on the night.

Friday night, the team was back in the Wheeler-owned car for the double round of heat races to kick of the $10,000 to win portion of the King of America. In heat race #1, Cade raced to a 6th place finish and in heat race #2 he finished 5th, after starting in 10th. This put the team 34th overall in passing points and into the c-main on Saturday. Saturday, Cade raced from 9th to 7th in the c-main, transferring himself into the b. In the b-main, he started 19th and finished 12th, the final transfer spot into the feature. In the feature, Cade raced his way into the top ten early and  ran inside the top ten for much of the event, until he was caught up in a three car crash on lap 62 ending his night.

March 10, 2018 - Houston and Dillard Follow USMTS to Mississippi
Both Philip and Cade were back in action this past weekend as the United States Modified Touring Series fired back up in the state of Mississippi. 

Friday night at the Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Philip raced from 7th to 3rd in his heat, redrew 7th for the main event, but broke a rear end during the feature, ending his night early.

Cade ran second in his heat race from the pole, won the b-main from the pole and then continued his impressive runs forward in USMTS main events, charging to a third place finish.

Saturday, both drivers made their way to the Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS for USMTS action, which saw Philip run 6th in his heat from 8th, then ran from 8th to 4th in the b-main before starting 20th and finishing 18th.

Cade won his heat race from third, putting him in the night's redraw. He drew 3rd, drove into second early in the race, swept by into the lead during the mid point of the event, lead several laps but surrendered the lead late in the going, coming home second when the checkered flew. 

Sunday's event at the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Ms rained out.

March 3, 2018 - Dillard Tops Louisiana Late Model Field at Chatham Speedway
Cade got back to action with the United States Modified Touring Series this past Friday night with a visit to the Kennedale Speedway Park in Kennedale, Tx.

In the heat, Cade raced from 7th to 6th on a tricky racing surface, putting him into the night's b-main. In the b, he raced from 6th to 3rd, locking himself into the 17th starting position for the main event. 

In the feature, after some blading took place, the track got choppy and Cade made his way forward into the top ten early, then into the top five at the midpoint and then he continued his march forward to come home with a very respectable third place finish. 

Saturday night, since the USMTS event was rained out, Cade took his Late Model to the Chatham Speedway in Chatham, LA for their season opener. He started 6th in his heat race and won it and then started on the pole and lead every lap en route to the feature victory. (Best Photography)

February 24, 2018 - Cade Dillard Begins USMTS Season at South Texas
Cade and Team S&S Fishing and Rental kicked off the United States Modified Touring Series Southern Series this past weekend at the South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi, TX with a Friday-Saturday doubleheader.

Friday night, Cade started 8th in his heat race and raced his way to fourth but slipped back to sixth on the final lap, putting him on the pole for the nights b-main. He then went on to win the b-main with ease, earning the 17th starting position in the 40-lap main event. In the feature Cade used the high line and the low groove to work his way forward to a very solid third place finish when the checkered flag flew. 

Saturday night, after racing from sixth to third in his heat race, Cade redrew 4th for the main event and after the 40-lapper, found himself with a great runner up finish, capping off a great weekend in Corpus. (Ron Skinner photo)

February 17, 2018 - Dillard Visits Victory Lane in Modified at Whynot
After only competing in the Late Model division in Arizona back in January, Cade blew the dust off of the Modified and made the trip to the Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS this past weekend for their annual Battle of the States. Friday night, the teams hot lap qualified and Cade set fast time of the cars in attendance, putting him on the pole for his heat race, which he won with ease, qualifying himself to start on the pole for main event on Saturday night. Saturday's program was rained out and pushed to Sunday, so after waiting an extra day, Cade rolled off from the pole on Sunday afternoon and lead every lap en route to the $2,000 feature victory, outrunning Hunter Wilbanks for the early season victory.

January 14, 2018 - Cade Dillard Bags Four Top 10 Finishes in Wild West Shootout
Cade and Team S&S Fishing & Rental made their way to the Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, AZ for the 12th annual Wild West Shootout this past week and had great success. During the 6 night mini-series, Cade set fast time in his group 3 times, including an overall fast qualifying effort on the final night. Cade won a pair of heat races and finished inside the top 5 twice during the week in main event action. If not for a flat tire and for being taken out while leading in lapped traffic, Cade may very well have picked up a victory and ended with six top ten runs on the week. December 28, 2017 - Houston Lands 6th Place Finish in TOMS Nationals at Southern Oklahoma Speedway
The 2017 season saw the Team S&S Racing attend a total of 116 events while Cade Dillard notched 16 wins and Philip Houston registered one win at Wichita Speedway (Wichita Falls, Texas). With the weather determining the outcome of six of their scheduled dates, the team combined collected 75 Top-10 outings and 55 Top-5 finishes.

November 4, 2017 - Houston Lands 6th Place Finish in TOMS Nationals at Southern Oklahoma Speedway
Philip made the trip to the Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, OK for the $3,300 to win TOMS Nationals this past weekend and came away with a solid 6th place finish. On Friday night, double rounds of heat races were held with Philip running 3rd and 4th in his respective heats, locking him in as the 9th highest driver in overall passing points, putting him on the outside of the third row for the 3-wide start on Saturday night. Saturday, after b-mains were held, the 40-lap finale was lined up 3 wide with $3,300 on the line. Philip raced his way from his 9th starting spot into the top five early and was engaged in a very highly contested 3 way battle for third for much of the event, settling in for a sixth place finish when the final checkered flag flew.

October 28, 2017 - Dillard Attends Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot
Cade strapped back into his Late Model and made the trip to the Whynot Motorsports Park In Meridian, Mississippi this past weekend for the $15,000 to win Fall Classic. After a mid pack run in the heat race, Cade got up on the wheel and won the b-main, earning himself the 18th starting spot in the night's 100-lap main event. In the feature, Cade ran just outside the top ten for much of the first half of the race before being involved in a crash, which ended up with him on his roof. Cade was uninjured in the incident, but his night ended prematurely.

October 21, 2017 - Cade Dillard Wins Spooky 50 at Chatham; Houston Attends USRA Fall Nationals at SNMS
Cade stayed close to home this past weekend and competed in his Late Model at the Chatham Speedway in Chatham, Louisiana for the Spooky 50. Cade started on the pole of his heat race and won it, putting himself on the outside of the front row for the feature event the following night. Cade lined up on the outside of row one for the $4,000 to win main event and went on to lead every lap en route to his first career Super Late Model victory!

Philip made the trip to the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, NM for the Fall Nationals and had an up and down weekend. Friday night, Philips raced from 6th to 2nd in his heat race, putting himself on the outside of the front row for the main event. During the feature, he fought an ill handling car, slipping to a 16th place finish. Saturday night, Philip raced from 9th to 7th in his heat and then from 9th to 5th in the b, missing the feature by one spot. Sunday afternoon, Philip raced from 10th to 5th in the b-main and then came home with a solid 15th place finish in the 50-lap, $20,000 to win finale.

October 7, 2017 - 2nd Place Finish in Late Model Debut at Lucas Oil Speedway
Cade made his Late Model debut this weekend in an S&S Fishing & Rental MB Custom Late Model at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. Friday night, Cade qualified well, won his heat race and chased Randy Timms to the checkered in the main event, for a very solid 2nd place finish in his first ever outing in a Late Model. Saturday night, Cade ran mid pack in his heat race, won the b-main and then raced from 17th to 13th in night's main event, wrapping up a successful Late Model debut.
